4. Anahata - Heart Chakra
Depicted in strong green, this chakra is found in your heart. It is the center of love, compassion, harmony and inner peace.
In tradition and in medicine, this is the house of the soul. This energy center includes your lungs, your heart, your thymus gland (Brain of the body's defense system and teaching center for T-lymphocytes).
With its help, we fall in love, and the energy then moves to the emotional center, also known as the solar plexus, as a feeling of unconditional love. To solidify the love, the energy then moves to our sexual center or root chakra, where strong feelings of attraction are released.
When these energies move into the base or root chakra, we may have the desire to marry and settle down.
If this energy center is blocked, it can lead to a weakening of the immune system, lung problems and heart problems. A lack of empathy and compassion also manifest themselves in this form of blockage.
The healing stones sapphire, aventurine, chrysocolla, jade, moss agate, olivine and emerald are particularly suitable.
